Congratulatons to the membes of he ARC for a very thorough ransparent process.

The Board now has the tools to ensure Downtown Barrie has a much needed community secondary school presence. It also gives the Board the opportunity in partnership with many to plan and develop a Community devlopment that will include a secondary school as well as many other municipal uses such as library, swming pool/rec centre.

I am puzzled as to why you have not sought out the opinions of reputable biologists and doctors on this issue. When there is so much evidence available from around the world that suggests there may be longterm risks for children, I find it incredulous that you and other school board members are so quick to decide which body of science is correct. Physicists do NOT study the health impacts of technologies on living things. Furthermore, we aren't talking about monkeys in a lab. These are our precious children.

Let's pray to God you are right. The alternative is unthinkable.

I wonder why Dr. Tony Muc was used by SCDSB yet again. Did you expect him to say something different than he did last year in his deputation to the Board? How much did he charge the SCDSB this time? At least the Bluewater District School Board hired an independent consultant last year to investigate EMF in an elementary school in Meaford. However, I understand their full report was not released because the consultant would not say conclusively that WiFi was safe for children aged 4-14 to be exposed to for six hours a day-5 days a week. That's the bottom line here-no one has done a study on this exposure for this age group.
