Caroline Smith Trustee SCDSB
Caroline Smith is a trustee on the Simcoe County District School Board. She has held that position sin
ce 2003 representing Collingwood and Clearview Twp. Smith is an ardent champion of transparency and clarity in public process.
Her education activist work predates her years as trustee. She served on the board’s Special Education Advisory Committee, and also as a School Council chair. For the past 15 years, she has staunchly defended the rights of children.
She considers parents as partners with teachers and school staff and advocates for public accountability and parental involvement.
In her private life Smith is a licenced paralegal and mother of 4. She has been married to Greg Koculym for twenty-five years.
