The Door, an open drop-in center for teenagers is featured in the Stayner Sun this week; One Year for The Door. The founders opened the Clearview branch to provide an alternative safe environment for teens 13 -19. Programs include a Friday night drop-in, movie club and homework help.
They have a need for new steering committee members as well as a need for financial and item donations. Check out their wish list and perhaps you can volunteer or help. There is something on the list for everyone.
If you have just a little more time check out the partners page, those that support the The Door. It never hurts to tell people you and organizations that you noticed their positive actions.
