Trustee Update Jan. 09 2010 – Caroline Smith
I wanted to let you know that the date for the final public input meeting for the Collingwood Attendance Area Review (AAR)( Admiral Collingwood ES, Cameron Street PS, Connaught PS, Mountain View ES, Nottawa ES and Worsley ES) has been announced.
The meeting is scheduled for February 2, 2010 at 7 p.m. and will be held at Collingwood Collegiate Institute (CCI). The agenda for the evening will include the presentation and distribution of the SCDSB staff recommended solution for the Attendance Area Review (AAR).
I’d like to comment on the extraordinary amount of constructive input provided by so many. I thank the community for attending the previous 3 meetings in such high numbers and taking the time to write extremely informative and helpful recommendations; I appreciated being copied on so many of them.
If you have not had the opportunity to review the AAR background material, it is available on-line. It includes previous presentations, the Policy 2317 and Administrative Procedures Memo (APM ).
Please note you may respond with your input to staff until February 10, 2010 and a final staff recommendation will be presented to the Board Facilities Standing Committee on March 3, 2010. ” Full SCDSB announcement can be found here”
