Capital Planning Funds – B memo stands for Broke

 

During the early part of the  2012 there was much discussion about the SCDSB capital plan priorities.  In advance of a request from the Ministry of Education a wish list of capital priorities was compiled and approved by the SCDSB Board.  You can download the revised capital plan here.

This past week B-memo 7   “Capital Priorities” for 2012 was released  and it appears that the B in B-memo now stands for “Broke”.  The MOE has requested a new list of Ontario school board capital priorities for 2012 and funding has been slashed. [Continue reading]
